Get Effective Equestrian Training

Finding the perfect show barn that can meet your standards and the level of care you require for your horse is quite challenging, especially if there are only a few available facilities in your area. When you are choosing a farm for your mount, you are also considering the amenities and programs they can provide for you, the owner.

Every equestrian facility is different from each other when you compare their lessons, stables, or trainers. Some farms are more focused on their boarding services, while others are more concentrated in running riding clinics. It is always best to choose a horse barn that can provide you what you need.

Sage Hill Farm offers both lodging for your steed and training for riders of all levels. As a first-class hunter, jumper, and equitation facility, we make sure to give only high-quality care for the horses that stay with us and provide tailor-fit programs for each of our students.

What We Offer

Sage Hill Farm was established in 2006 by Stephanie Demmon, whose love for horses started at an early age of four. Having someone who understands the needs of these beautiful animals as the head of the barn will assure you that all the necessities for your steed are met without doing any shortcuts. We provide the following services and amenities to our clients in Westchester, NY and Greenwich, CT:

  • Bespoke Lessons

We make customized programs for each of our riders, depending on the level you are at and the goal you want to attain. Our professional trainers also provide focused lessons to prepare you for the competitive show ring. We have a number of typical show schedules you can join.

  • Sales and Leases

To make our training lessons more efficient and effective, our expert trainers will assess your current level of ability to be able to find a steed that can be your ideal partner. We will also make sure to take into consideration your future goals in choosing a horse you can buy or lease from us. Our farm is known to have an extensive history in crafting winning horse-and-rider combinations.

  • Prime Facilities

Our farm is situated on the grounds of a historic Vanderbilt estate, giving us a sizeable land area for all our facilities, which includes:

  • Stables

The boarding stables are made from steel-framed bricks that can accommodate various horse sizes. Our airy stalls come with rubber mats and individual water supply. This facility also has a riders’ lounge complete with a fireplace and leather seating. We also have separate ladies’ and men’s full locker rooms and indoor and outdoor wash stalls.

  • Riding Rings

We have a primary outdoor ring which is 300’ by 130’ and two secondary, one indoor and one outdoor, that are both 200’ by 100’. Our indoor riding facility has a heated second-story viewing area with seating, TV, and Wi-Fi.

  • Trail

We use the Rockerfeller Preserve Riding Trail system which is just adjacent to our farm. The track features a 45-mile well-maintained scenic bridle that overlooks the Hudson River, perfect for leisure riding.
